Policies

Lash Extensions and Brow enhancements are luxurious services that I offer everyday, and they should be treated as such. I work hard to provide you with the best results, products and services every time because you deserve it!

Read through my policies to learn more about what you can expect when you walk into HTA.

Simple Expectations & Etiquette

When you arrive to your appointment, there are a couple of simple rules and expectations to abide by. (I promise they're really easy!)

  • Please make sure to contact me before your first appointment, if I haven't already reached out to you. I enjoy learning a little bit about you, your preferences, and your expectations before we get started on your HTA journey!

  • Before your first scheduled appointment, you will be sent a Client Intake/Consent Form. This is required to be filled out before an appointment for any client of mine, whether it is for Lashes or Brows.

  • First time clients may be required to send a deposit to hold the scheduled appointment time.

  • Please do not bring anyone to accompany you to your appointment, as there is no waiting room in my home studio. (ex. pets, children, partners, etc.)

  • At this time I encourage anyone at risk of being infected with Covid-19 to wear a mask inside of the studio. Masks are not required, but please do what feels comfortable. If you request me to wear a mask during your appointment, I will always accommodate!

  • Please have your payment ready and with you at the time of your appointment. At this time I accept payment through cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

  • During your appointment, be prepared to relax and lay perfectly still. I kindly ask to keep talking to a minimum. In order to safely and efficiently apply a set of lashes or create precise brows, I need the client to lay still and relaxed throughout the duration of the application. This means no fidgeting, quiet-talking, and being mindful of my time and energy. I suggest not drinking any coffee or tea before your appointment, so that you're free to completely relax! (A lot of my clients fall asleep during their appointments! This is totally fine and even encouraged!)

  • Please arrive to your appointment on time, and no more than 5 minutes early.

Lash Extensions Care & Maintenance

Lash Extensions require regular maintenance in and our of the studio, similarly to getting your nails done. They require biweekly Fill-In's, and some at-home client care as well. Take care of your investment!

  • Your new Lash Set will require regular brushing every day. I advise my clients to brush them every morning when you wake up, and before you go to bed every night. I provide you with small lash brushes, even after every Fill-In!

  • Because Lash Extensions sit so close to your eyelid and are thicker than what you may be used to, there is potential for dead skin, oil, dirt, and makeup to build up between your lashes or on the lash line. The most important part of caring for your Lash Extensions is CLEANSING them; I advise my clients to wash with an oil-free Lash cleanser and a clean, small makeup brush every day before you go to bed, even if you do not wear makeup. Things like sunscreen, lotions, and dry-shampoo can collect on the delicate lash fibers, sometimes without you even realizing! I offer a specially formulated Lash Wash in my studio for seamless client after-care. If you do wear makeup, always cleanse your face and lashes with an oil-free cleanser, and follow up with a second deep Lash wash.

  • If there comes a time where the client does not follow after-care instructions, a Full-Set may be required to keep the natural lashes' and eye health intact.

  • Be careful with your Lash Extensions. Each lash is adhered to your natural lash, therefore any pulling, picking, or rubbing could potentially result in loss of natural lashes or damage to the Lash Set.

- Fill-Ins

  • After your Full-Set is applied, you will need to schedule 2-week Fill-Ins to maintain the appearance, fullness, health, and hygiene of your lashes. As days go on, you will notice some fall-out of extensions and sometimes even natural lashes. This is completely normal and expected, as your natural lashes go through several different growth phases over the course of a few months. New growth is key! If you are strictly getting them done for a special occasion, Fill-Ins are not required. (I offer Removal services.)

  • During a Fill-In, I remove old, rotated, and grown-out lash extensions and replace them with fresh, new extensions. In addition to filling in the gaps, I wash through the lashes thoroughly, then inspect them, and inform you of any issues I see going on. At this point, I ask if there is any changes you want made to the shape or length of the set.

  • Whatever set you choose to start out with in the beginning, we will continue to fill-in accordingly. If at any time you want to change styles (ex. Classic to Hybrid, or Mega Volume to Classic), a Removal and Full-Set will be required.

  • The longer you wait in between Fills, the more time and supplies will be required at your next appointment. Prices are subject to change in case of this.

  • If you are past your 2-week Fill and come with less than 50% lashes left on, a Full-Set will be required.

  • If you come to your 2-week Fill with less than 50% lashes left on, a Full-Set may be required, depending on what factors caused this.

  • If you come any sooner than your 2-week Fill, this will require a standard Fill-In.

Cancellations/Reschedules/Refunds

In case of cancellation or rescheduling, I will look at every situation uniquely. I understand that crazy things happen in this world, and I always try to be understanding of every situation! In turn, I ask you to be courteous of my valuable time, and openly communicate when there is a scheduling issue.

  • If you have to cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, please notify me immediately. Clients who cancel within that window, may be required to pay the fee of 50% of the appointment cost.

  • If you do not show up to your appointment without calling and letting me know first, you will be charged a fee of 100% of the appointment cost. No-call, No-show's are not tolerated.

  • If you have to cancel within the 24 hour window of your scheduled appointment, but want to reschedule to a later date, I will be happy to accommodate unless it becomes a consistent issue.

  • Note: I do not offer refunds on any of my services or products. If for any reason you are less than satisfied, I will always go over and beyond to try and make it right!
